  production is on stream March 2009 – Depotchem New facility for AD Blue.
Depotchem Ltd, the chemical distribution arm of the chemovil group commissioned its AD Blue production facility.
Depotchem is the exclusive distributor of AIR 1 the brand of Yara Corporation, the largest global AD Blue producer.
AD Blue is a Urea base product for the use as emission reducer in trucks and diesel engines produced under Euro 4 and Euro 5 standards.
Depotchem facility is fully licensed   and approved according to ISO  standards.      
 
  July 2008 - Bora- A new business unit in Depotchem

DEPOTCHEM – the chemical distribution arm of the CHEMOVIL Group, has added further business unit to its activity.

 

The company has acquired the distribution activities of BORA Ltd., one of Israel leading polymer distribution companies.

BORA Ltd will continue to operate as an agency company and will jointly held by DEPOTCHEM and Mr. Bondy Chakim.

 

The new unit will handle Engineering plastics and Styrenics, as well as other commodity Polyolefines.

New added leading principals are part of the acquisition: DEPOTCHEM distributes now exclusively the product line of CHI MEI, FORMOSA, FAR EASTERN TEXTILE, and more.

 

Tailor made grades and standard specs. are offered now regularly from DEPOTCHEM stock.

It includes products such as: PS, HIPS, ABS, SAN, PC, ACRYLICS, ACETALS, and many more.

 
  December 2008-Zohar Dalia-new LABS plant is on stream.
Zohar Dalia the largest detergent & cosmetics raw materials producer In Israel,and A member of Emilia group of companies, has commissioned new LABS (Linear; Alkyl, Benzen, Sulphunate) unit.
The new facility adds 35% to existing LABS capacity and will mainly be directed to captive use of added value detergent raw materials.
 
 
 
  February 2008 –Chemothal - new fleet of vehicle

Chemothal, the transport and logistic arm of the Chemovil group, have completed a massive purchase of transport equipment.

It includes road trailers for transportation of fuel, bitumen, LPG and granular products.

This purchase is in addition to substantial tractors and trucks purchase that have been lately purchased.

As a leading company in the Israeli transport market, Chemothal can now provide a larger scale of trucks and tankers with wide solutions for any application.

 

 
 
  January 2008: Emilia invests in Palziv Cross Linked foam Solutions Ltd.

Emilia and Palziv, a leading manufacturer of cross linked polyethylene products, have engaged in a Share purchase agreement, according to which Emilia will hold a 25% stake in Palziv.

Palziv specializes in Cross-Linked, Closed-Cell, Polyethylene and Synthetic Rubber Foams. With three production sites located in Israel, Romania and Canada, Palziv maintains professional know-how and core competency to provide tailored solutions for any type of foam-based product. Palziv's products are mainly applied in various industries such as automotive, construction, air-conditioning, packaging, sports and leisure.   January 2008: Alfa Systems–a new member in the Chemovil group

Alfa System, a Wroclaw (Poland) based Polyurethane Systems and Polyol producer is now member of the Chemovil Group.

 

Chemovil acquired 50% shares of Alfa Systems. This strategic move aims to enlarge the production base of PU systems and raw materials such as Polyester Polyols, and to increase the presence in European market, presently done through Caesarea Polymers Ltd.

 

Alfa Systems, with its high technology base, is one of the important independent PU systems producers in Europe.

December 2007: Chemovil Ltd. had acquire further equity in Tabib

Chemovil Ltd. acquired further 25% in Tabib Ltd and holds now 50% of the company.

  December 2007: Tene invest in Teldor Cables & Systems Ltd.

Tene and Teldor, a leading manufacturer of cables have have engaged in a Share purchase agreement, according to which Tene will hold a 50% stake in Teldor.Teldor manufactures a wide range of wires and cables for telecommunications, electronics and electricity, and is a leader in the design and production of high data-rate Copper and Optical LAN cables, Industrial BUS, Instrumentation and Control cables. August 2007: Kidron Plastics – A new business unit in Depothcem

Depotchem Ltd, the chemical distribution company of the Chemovil Group, has acquired  the activities of  Kidron Plastic Ltd, a leading distributor of polymers, resins and auxiliaries for the reinforced plastics and composite materials industries.

 

The new acquired activity adds global leading producers to the existing list of important companies represented exclusively by Depotchem.  

Among them are: Reichold, Akzo Nobel, Saint - Gobain Vetrotex and others.

 

The highly experienced team of technicians, chemists and sales staff, will join Depotchem and will continue to serve the important market share it already holds.
